Serious EV Infrastructure Plan

I just heard about a company that is seriously working to advance electric vehicle infrastructure and am completely impressed. I know, this is just an initial reaction, but what Better Place looks like is the real deal - and viable! The concept is Better Place is a mobile operator, like your cell phone company. They partner with other groups to produce the vehicles and batteries, produce the energy (renewably), and install & maintain the charging infrastructure for the vehicles. Better Place sells you the electricity for your vehicle the way your cell phone company sells you minutes for your phone calls.
